Mach-II Workshops
Team Mach-II and GreatBizTools, our commercial sponsor, offers workshops that help developers learn how to apply object-oriented programming fundamentals by using the Mach-II framework. Our workshop facilitators, who actually wrote the Mach-II code, not only can explain the fundamental design principles behind Mach-II but can also show developers practical ways to help them get the most out of their ColdFusion applications.
Commercial Support & Training Rates / Prices
Team Mach-II and GreatBizTools, our commercial sponsor, offer workshops that help developers learn how to apply object-oriented programming fundamentals by using the Mach-II framework.
Our workshop facilitators, who actually wrote the Mach-II code, not only can explain the fundamental design principles behind Mach-II but can also show developers practical ways to help them get the most out of their CFML applications.
Are you interested in on-site training for 5+ developers in your organization? Our training fees are very reasonable. For example, we charge only $4,000 (plus travel expenses) for two days of on-site training for five developers. We offer discounts for larger classes. And if you need help resolving technical problems, we charge only $1,200 for one day (i.e., 8 hours) of consulting support.
If you have only 1-4 developers and you wish to "sponsor" a Mach-II workshop, we will provide training at your place of business if you allow us to offer this training to developers from other organizations in the area.
Please call GreatBizTools at 651-747-1250 (press "1" for Sales) for more information about training fees, customization, consulting support, and sponsoring Mach-II workshops in your area.

Mach-II and OOP from the Ground Up
April 20-21, 2010 - Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Minneapolis, MN
Taking place immediately before cf.Objective() 2010 and short walk from the conference hotel
New and Improved Mach-II Workshops
We have made a number of improvements to the workshop since we first offered it two years ago at cf.Objective() 2008. The presentations have been streamlined in order to allow for maximum hands-on coding, and we dig into the latest features introduced in Mach-II 1.8 ("Simplicity") as well as new features in Mach-II 1.9 ("Integrity").
In addition, this year each participant is provided a lab computer with all software and hands-on labs pre-installed. At the end of the workshop all materials will be provided on a thumb drive so participants can take their work with them.
And the best news is that we have reduced the price of the workshops by over 45%!Participants said the following about previous Mach-II workshops:
- "I'm not sure how it could have been presented better."
- "Absolutely excellent workshop. All of the speakers were wonderful. They knew what they were talking about and were excellent speakers. The organization was wonderful and each session was in digestible chunks that built on the other . . . I will highly recommend this to everyone."
- "All of you guys are great speakers, and your enthusiasm for and knowledge of the subject matter really makes this interesting. Presentation materials were well-organized and very informative. Thanks for a great workshop – I am going to give Mach-II a try!"
- "Overall a really good job guys. Congrats. Excellent slides and handouts . . . A solid class. I hope you’ll be delivering it many more times."
- "Amazing workshop!!! I will highly recommend this to everyone! All three speakers were fantastic and really knew their stuff. And I loved the mixing up the sessions with different speakers to allow us to get different perspectives . . . Thanks very much! I am starting to migrate an application to Mach-II tonight."
Workshop Facilitators
The following workshop facilitators, who actually wrote the Mach-II code, not only can explain the fundamental design principles behind Mach-II but can also show developers practical ways to help them get the most out of their CFML applications: Peter J. Farrell, Kurt Wiersma, Matt Woodward.
